ANDREW REDDEN ILLUSTRATION
MY ENGLAND
I have known and worked with Rigs for years. He will use any material that is available to create his artworks. The cardboard prints are produced by cutting cardboard and paper templates which are then inked and pressed onto stretched papers. It is not unusual to see him standing on top of several layers of wood or bricks as he squashes the ink from the templates on to the master artwork. He will use wood, plastic, plasticine and even stones as templates depending on the effect he is after.
He keeps strange hours, wears ropey clothes and likes a drink.
