ANDREW REDDEN ILLUSTRATION
MY ENGLAND
Most of these pictures were originally sketched on location. Many of the seabirds were on the Farne Islands and drawn in weather that could change from bright sunshine to howling gale in a matter of minutes. Very challenging. The North Norfolk Coast provided Avocets, Godwits and a Barn Owl or two.
Watercolour backgrounds offset birds painted in gouache giving depth and atmosphere.
